The Caddy Max we worked on had an unprotected metal cargo area, showing signs of fatigue—scratches, dust buildup, and scattered tool marks. While the vehicle was still mechanically sound, the interior didn’t reflect the same level of reliability.
We addressed this by installing 12mm marine grade laminated birch plywood flooring, precision-cut to fit the Caddy Max floorpan with zero trimming required. This premium-grade ply features a laminated anti-slip surface, making it far safer underfoot—especially when loading gear or stepping in and out with tools.
Fully sealed edges help prevent water ingress and make cleaning quick and easy. It’s also strong enough to support heavy toolboxes, equipment, or cargo without warping or denting, ensuring your investment stands up to real-world usage.
Wall Protection with Polypropylene Panels
To complement the flooring, we installed 7mm polypropylene plastic wall panels along the full interior sides of the cargo area. These durable, lightweight panels offer excellent impact resistance while also helping to insulate the van and reduce road noise.
Unlike metal walls that easily dent or scratch, polypropylene offers a clean, professional finish that resists daily knocks and scuffs. The panels are CNC-cut for a snug fit, leaving no exposed edges and covering vital areas like wheel arches and side panels.
Together with the flooring, this setup gives the VW Caddy Max a fully lined, fully protected cargo space—ideal for trades, service calls, or small-scale delivery runs.
